MICHELE EYMARD Her story
At the age of 24, a very serious car accident permanently marked the left side of my face. Multiple breaks and tears destroyed my profile.
I was in the fourth year of my pharmaceutical studies.
The clock of my life seemed to stop. Nothing but the hospital room, then the clinic, the operating theatres, bandages that hurt, injections and intensive care.
After six months and many interventions, I was discharged. I still remember that feeling of vastness as I lay looking from the ambulance outside, at life as it moved before my eyes.
Arriving home, I stood in front of a large mirror and looked at my face, thinking about how, a few months before, I was participating in a fashion show because I was a model in my spare time. I stared at the scars on my still-swollen skin under my eye. According to the medical professionals, no science or technique could make them disappear.
I went to get wide glasses, drew my lips on with a bright red lipstick and pulled my long hair back to the edge of my face and smiled. Everything was going to be fine; there are always solutions, and there were certainly solutions. I had to move towards the future.
I went back to university as soon as I could. I felt really good.
After that I specialised in several fields and at the same time, I started my research. I was fortunate enough to meet eminent and pioneering professors in several fields. I was focused on their work on cell biology, free radical damage and oxidative stress, 20 years before it became generally acknowledged. This knowledge that I acquired very early in my career allowed me to find formulations to transform my skin and then to create an innovative concept of treatment and regeneration. I had developed the unique technology of Laboratoires Renophase.
I have dedicated my whole life to research on cell and skin regeneration and it is my journey that I share today.
I was able to really see that the cells retain their capacity for regeneration and that any skin problem or any scar can be transformed and improved, as long as the cause of it is addressed.
The Renophase formulations that I have developed are thus messages to encourage women who wish to keep or regain a beautiful image of themselves.
